Synopsis
The U.S. company was incorporated in October 2022 and will be operating a bubble tea shop under a reputable franchise in the United States and later, investing in a Vietnamese restaurant. It is considered a "new office" for L-1 purposes since the U.S. business has not been actively operating for more than a year. The business will offer a variety of customizable tea and coffee-flavored beverages to its customers and target local residents. The company intends on opening additional bubble tea stores in the U.S. in the future.
The beneficiary is the founder of the related Vietnamese business, operating in the consumer products distribution industry in Vietnam for more than 10 years. The new office in the U.S. will rely on the support of its affiliate company.
The beneficiary, who will be at the helm of the U.S. company as well, has been granted a period of an authorized stay of one year on L-1A to start the operations and build a team that will support her in the new role.
