Synopsis
The U.S. company was incorporated in April 2023 to operate a B2B print-on-demand (PoD) phone accessories such as phone cases, smart watch straps, pop sockets and other products. It is considered as a "new office" for L-1 purposes since it has not been actively operating for more than a year. The fulfillment center will custom print the products as per customer’s requirement before shipping them to clients. The U.S. company's target clients include e-commerce companies, other wholesalers, and accessory retailers. The Company also targets end-users directly, as it intends to create a website and establish a presence on a number of trade platforms.
The "new office" relies on the support of its affiliate company in India, which has been manufacturing and distributing phone accessories. The affiliate company has committed to send its state-of-the-art heat press machines and printers to the Company, offer continual support in business development, and ship a variety of consumables, ranging from blank phone cases, printing film (media), inks, and jig fixtures to other accessories. The Managing Director of the affiliate company entered the U.S. on visitor's visa to examine the prospects for the organization in the U.S. and seeing the huge potential for growth and expansion in the U.S., the company has decided to file an application for the Managing Director to change status to L-1A as an executive.
The beneficiary now has been given a period of authorized stay of one year on L-1A to jumpstart the operations of the U.S. company and build a team that will support and elevate him to his executive position within the one-year period.
