Synopsis
The U.S. petitioning company was incorporated in 2023 and will operate as an importer and exporter of audio equipment. It is considered a "new office" for L-1 purposes since the U.S. business has not been actively operating for more than a year. The company will import and distribute through wholesale and online channels audio equipment, with products such as portable speakers, karaoke system, bluetooth speakers, car sound systems, etc.The L-1 beneficiary is the founder of the related foreign business, operating in the same industry in Vietnam for several years. The new office in the U.S. will import equipment from its Vietnamese affiliate for wholesale to U.S. consumers and will rely on their support to grow the U.S. business.
The L-1A beneficiary, who will be at the helm of the start-up as well, has been granted a period of one year to set up the U.S. business and build a team that will support him in the new role.
