How much does EB5 Cost an Indian Citizen Applying through Mumbai?Minimum investment is USD 800,000 for a TEA/Rural Area and USD 1,050,000 outside a TEA or Rural Area. Regional Center Admin Fee (if applicable) USD 0 – USD 70,000. Varies by Regional Center. USCIS application fee, currently USD 3,675 for I526 and USD 3,750 for I829 Lawyers fee varied by lawyer but is un the range of USD 15,000 – USD 50,000 depending on the law firm and scope of services.
How to Apply for an Immigrant EB-5 Visa in Mumbai- Find an experienced EB5 attorney to guide you through the process who is experienced with Indian source of funds and FEMA requirements
- Determine whether you will have funds that meet USCIS EB5 funding criteria.
- Work on a FEMA compliant funds transfer with your attorney and Indian advisor

- Remit funds to the EB5 project through a FEMA compliant channel
- Double check the possibility of and advantages of concurrently filing I526 and I485 in the US
- File form I526 and await adjudication.
- Pay National Visa Center invoice and complete documentary checklist.
- Complete medical, practice interview and consular interview in Mumbai.
- Enter US using immigrant visa, 2-Year conditional residency period begins.
- File I-829 Petition and removal of conditions on residency
- Five years after first entry to US apply for US citizenship (optional)
